Each year, pro-lifers organize day for pro-lifers to participate in Prayer for Life at the state capitol building in Des Moines. The event is organized by the Iowa Coalition of Pro-Life Leaders, which unites the efforts of several pro-life organizations in Iowa. The event usually occurs by early March each year.
The event typically follows the following flow:

- Prayer Rally for Life (pro-life speakers)
- Learn to Lobby (simple tips to communicate with representatives)
- Lobby Your Legislators (make your pr0-life positions count)
